Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains how personal information provided through this website (dramermitchelle.com.au) is handled. It applies to the website only. It does not cover Sydney Neurointervention & Spine (SNIS) or the public hospitals at which Dr Mitchelle consults, each of which has its own privacy arrangements. This website is operated on behalf of Dr Amer Mitchelle.

This website is not a place to send clinical information. Please do not submit medical details, patient identifiers, imaging or other sensitive health information through the contact form. Clinical enquiries, referrals and appointments should be made through SNIS.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, your email address, and any message you choose to write. We ask that this be limited to non-clinical enquiries. The website does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for health information.

Why we collect it

The information you submit through the form is used for one purpose only: so that Dr Mitchelle can read and respond to your enquiry. It is not used for marketing, and it is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

How your enquiry is handled

This is a static website hosted by Netlify. When you submit the contact form, the message is processed by Netlify's form service and delivered by email to Dr Mitchelle, who then responds to you directly. In providing hosting and form delivery, Netlify may process the submission on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Netlify publishes its own privacy information, which you can review on its website.

Retention

Form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and to keep a reasonable record of correspondence, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Standard web-server logs may record technical information such as IP address and browser type as part of normal, secure operation of the site.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The contact form includes measures to reduce spam and automated abuse. While no online service can be guaranteed completely secure, reasonable steps are taken to protect the information handled by this site.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to, or correction or deletion of, any personal information you have provided through this website. To do so, or to raise a privacy concern, please use the contact form (without including sensitive details) and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with how a concern is handled, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
