Training and practice

Dr Mitchelle completed specialist training in interventional neuroradiology at Prince of Wales and Liverpool Hospitals, performing over 1,400 neurovascular procedures with high volumes of aneurysm treatment, carotid stenting and stroke intervention.

He works closely with referring general practitioners and specialist colleagues in neurology, neurosurgery and vascular surgery. Treatment recommendations are based on the current evidence and the circumstances of the individual patient, and intervention is advised only where it is likely to help.
